The Roots
Yuvalay - Individual Development Center is run by Yuvalay Charitable Trust, which is founded by H T Patel as a tribute to his mother Sushilaben. Mr. H T Patel has a humble background as he born and brought up in village and has hence upheld the value of education. His father was a teacher who imbibed right values in him that has been a bedrock of his life. Furthermore, his association with Jaycee offered him inspiration to form Yuvalay.
The Ethos
Yuvalay is about practice, not just theory - about learning, not just teaching - about evolving, not just growing. Through a 360 degree approach of improving one's skills set, Yuvalay inculcates values in students that are integral to their sustained success throughout life. Yuvalay inspires its students through stellar examples of artists, corporate leaders, writers, orators, and academicians. The foundation of Yuvalay has been laid by H. T. Patel, his wife Hemangini Patel, and their son Dr. Dhruv Patel.
H T Patel
Mr. H. T. Patel is a Management Graduate with a rich experience of over 35 years in the pharmaceutical industry, which includes 25 years at Alembic Pharma and 10 years at Zydus Cadila. He retired as President of API Business at Zydus Cadila in 2014. He is a Member of the Board of Management at CHARUSAT University.
Hemangini Patel
Mrs. Hemangini Patel holds a Post Graduate degree in Home Science. She has created many inspiring paintings and is an avid reader. Most importantly, she is a pillar of strength for the entire Patel family and is a diligent homemaker.
Dr Dhruv Patel
Dr. Dhruv Patel specialized in Infectious Diseases and Critical Care at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. He works as a Physician at Westchester Medical Center New York. He is married to Vaidehi, an artist. Even at a young age, he displayed his commitment to serve society by nurturing youth.
